Antea Cement remains committed to implementing CSR initiatives that positively impact the communities where it operates.
The latest initiative “Cyberbullying and Social Media Workshop” aims to address the pressing issue of cyberbullying and promote responsible social media usage among the local community’s youth. The ultimate goal is to pave the way for an inclusive digital future for all.
Cyberbullying, a pervasive issue in today’s digital age, occurs through digital devices such as cell phones, computers, and tablets. Antea Cement’s program contributes significantly to the concept of sustainability by encouraging initiatives within schools. In collaboration with LIBURNETIK Organization, the “Ismail Dema” school in Fushë-Mamurras and the “Adem Myrta” school in Shperdhet, recognize the importance of fostering a safe online environment and have taken the initiative to create an educational foundation addressing cyberbullying and promoting responsible social media behavior.
The workshop fosters teamwork, interaction, and learning in a safe environment, promoting a healthier social and mental atmosphere. It seeks to inform and raise awareness among children, teachers, and parents about the detrimental effects of cyberbullying, emphasizing the importance of eradicating ‘toxic’ language from online interactions. By addressing cyberbullying, the initiative aligns with the broader goal of creating an inclusive digital future for all.
Antea Cement strives to create a positive impact on the lives of children, students, teachers, and parents and looks forward to continuing its CSR initiatives, making a lasting difference in the communities it serves.
